External Organisations
This release expands our support for organisation disambiguation across the platform. Building on work introduced in 6.22, Elements now uses authoritative identifiers like GRID and ROR to standardise data for grant funders, academic affiliations, degrees, certifications, and more.
Repository Tools Enhancements
Full support for DSpace 8, harvesting of file-level reuse licences and file creation times, and improved handling of deposit workflows and metadata mapping.
OA Monitor Enhancements
Building on the redesigned OA Monitor framework introduced in 6.20, you’ll find new bulk action tools, a compliance override feature, and clearer metadata displays that show precisely which file or repository item determined OA compliance – helping institutions manage complex open access requirements with greater precision and transparency.
Awards Management portal upgrade
The researchers & reviewers portal in the Awards Management module has been overhauled to offer a faster, more intuitive experience for researchers and reviewers. With upgraded backend technology and improved UX, users can now submit deliverables directly and access key project information like budget details, documents, change requests, and contract statuses.
