We are very happy to announce the next generation release of our leading research information management system, Elements. With a sleek new user interface, improved navigation and over 40 other enhancements, v4.0 is the most significant update in the product’s 7 year history.
Elements v4.0 introduces a host of new enhancements, including:
- A brand new user interface with improved navigation and usability.
- Customisable themes and branding.
- Improved visualisation of bibliometric data, including the addition of the Altmetric donut.
- A new administrative dashboard.
- Additional support for the capture of project and equipment data.
- Improved screen-reader support.
…. and much more
“The new Elements interface has been designed with the user in mind”, says Jonathan Breeze, VP, Development at Symplectic. “Intuitive navigation, polished iconography and improved visualisation of data all lend to the enhanced usability of the product.”
The new user interface design was designed in partnership with NewCity earlier in the year and offers a modern, intuitive look and feel that will appeal to researchers and administrators alike.
“Our users are central to the way that Elements evolves”, says Daniel Hook, CEO, Symplectic. “So we are particularly excited to be releasing v4, which has been built on the feedback received from our users. It will also provide us with a platform to deliver an even richer user experience in 2013 and beyond.“
