Versus Arthritis:
Exploring Research Impact
Versus Arthritis has used Symplectic Grant Tracker since 2008 in its former guise as Arthritis Research UK since 2008, and continued to do so in an expanded capacity following the company merger. They are now managing both pre-award and post-award processes through the platform, with a research budget exceeding £20m per annum and a portfolio exceeding £100m.
During the 2023 Symplectic Grant Tracker user day, we heard from Rosina Bevan, Senior Research Analyst, on Versus Arthritis’ approach to research impact and how the team are trialling a new impact capture methodology by making use of the progress reporting forms functionality within Grant Tracker.
